Fisher Houses are located at Military and VA medical centers nationwide and in Europe. This groundbreaking for the new VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System Fisher House represents continued investment from the American people in the quality care provided for Veteran and Military families in Colorado.

The Rocky Mountain Fisher House will have 16 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. All Fisher Houses share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room and an inviting living room. This house will be handicap accessible and includes an elevator. The program began in 1990 and has offered more than 8 million days of lodging to more than 350,000 families, saving Military and Veteran families an estimated $451 million in out of pocket costs related to both lodging and travel.
